Our work
Plain English
The basic tenets of plain English have informed every project we’ve worked on. However, in the following projects our clients specifically asked us to use plain English as a guiding principle:
- rewriting 100 letters that WorkSafeBC sends to its clients so that they are clear, accurate and informative,
- editing AIFs, annual reports and quarterly MD&As for TSE-listed companies such as Eldorado Gold and Methanex Corporation to improve readability,
- rewriting the BC College of Teachers website to clarify the process of applying for a teaching certificate,
- simplifying account application forms, terms and conditions booklets and a procedures manual for HSBC Global Asset Management (Canada), and
- editing a security risk assessment report for Terasen to help employees clearly understand their roles and responsibilities.
